INVITATION TO THE SECOND “WIRECARD ACTION DAY”

This is sched­uled to take place on Au­gust 10 in Munich.

After the suc­cess­ful im­ple­ment­a­tion of our first ac­tion day on the oc­ca­sion of the third an­niversary of the Wir­e­card in­solv­ency, we are plan­ning to re­peat this event soon. This time, the day of ac­tion in­clud­ing a rally is to take place in Munich.

With this re­newed ac­tion, we want to draw as much at­ten­tion as pos­sible to the ques­tion: Claims for dam­ages against Wir­e­card and EY – How can we ac­cel­er­ate the pro­ced­ural processing?

Due to the model pro­ceed­ings ini­ti­ated in March 2022, the in­jured parties are threatened with a con­sid­er­able delay. There­fore, the law­yers of our firm have draf­ted a le­gis­lat­ive ini­ti­at­ive in which we call for the following:

A re­form of the Cap­ital In­vestor Model Pro­ceed­ings Act (keyword: “opt-​out” op­tion for all ag­grieved parties who want to move their pro­ceed­ings for­ward more quickly) and, in­so­far as it is also af­fected, of the Ger­man Civil Code (BGB).

The aim is to draw at­ten­tion to the un­sat­is­fact­ory course of legal dis­putes to date, to ex­ert pres­sure at the polit­ical level and to call for re­medial ac­tion. At the same time, we have made our le­gis­lat­ive pro­pos­als the sub­ject of an on­line pe­ti­tion. If you have not already done so, you should sign it here.

SECOND DAY OF ACTION IN MUNICH

On our second day of ac­tion on Au­gust 10, 2023, we are plan­ning a rally at 11:30 a.m. on Karl-​Stützel-​Platz in Mu­nich, not far from the Palace of Justice, where most Wirecard/​EY pro­ceed­ings are heard. We also in­vite the Mu­nich ju­di­ciary and the Bav­arian State Min­istry of Justice to speak at the event. In ad­di­tion to other speak­ers, ag­grieved parties will have their say in per­son. We want to show strength. Our motto is “Time is run­ning out! Our Right Now.”
