INVITATION TO THE SECOND “WIRECARD ACTION DAY”
This is scheduled to take place on August 10 in Munich.
After the successful implementation of our first action day on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Wirecard insolvency, we are planning to repeat this event soon. This time, the day of action including a rally is to take place in Munich.
With this renewed action, we want to draw as much attention as possible to the question: Claims for damages against Wirecard and EY – How can we accelerate the procedural processing?
Due to the model proceedings initiated in March 2022, the injured parties are threatened with a considerable delay. Therefore, the lawyers of our firm have drafted a legislative initiative in which we call for the following:
A reform of the Capital Investor Model Proceedings Act (keyword: “opt-out” option for all aggrieved parties who want to move their proceedings forward more quickly) and, insofar as it is also affected, of the German Civil Code (BGB).
The aim is to draw attention to the unsatisfactory course of legal disputes to date, to exert pressure at the political level and to call for remedial action. At the same time, we have made our legislative proposals the subject of an online petition. If you have not already done so, you should sign it here.
You can find an insight into our last day of action here on our homepage and here on our YouTube channel.
SECOND DAY OF ACTION IN MUNICH
On our second day of action on August 10, 2023, we are planning a rally at 11:30 a.m. on Karl-Stützel-Platz in Munich, not far from the Palace of Justice, where most Wirecard/EY proceedings are heard. We also invite the Munich judiciary and the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice to speak at the event. In addition to other speakers, aggrieved parties will have their say in person. We want to show strength. Our motto is “Time is running out! Our Right Now.”
