For twenty years, Chris­tian Winkhaus has been ad­vising em­ploy­ees and em­ploy­ers, private in­di­vidu­als and com­pan­ies on all mat­ters re­lat­ing to in­di­vidual and col­lect­ive la­bour law. As a qual­i­fied spe­cial­ist law­yer for la­bour law, Chris­tian Winkhaus strengthens the ex­pert­ise of the law firm Schirp Schmidt-​Morsbach Recht­san­wälte in this area of law. In ad­di­tion, he has many years of ex­per­i­ence in court pro­ceed­ings and con­tract draft­ing in cor­por­ate and com­mer­cial law, in­her­it­ance law and re­lated areas of tax and crim­inal law. From 1998 un­til a few years ago, he was also ad­mit­ted as an abogado (in­scrito) in Mad­rid. An­other fo­cus of his work was and re­mains Span­ish real es­tate, in­her­it­ance and cor­por­ate law. In ad­di­tion to pub­lic­a­tions in spe­cial­ist lit­er­at­ure on European la­bour and cor­por­ate law, he also ad­vises hu­man re­sources man­agers, works coun­cils and su­per­vis­ory boards on legal and stra­tegic is­sues; he also of­fers in-​house train­ing courses on la­bour law.

After com­plet­ing his train­ing as an in­dus­trial clerk at a large Ger­man chem­ical com­pany, Mr. Winkhaus stud­ied law at the Uni­ver­sity of Co­logne, Lud­wig Max­imilian Uni­ver­sity of Mu­nich and Uni­ver­sidad Com­plutense de Mad­rid. He then com­pleted his legal clerk­ship at the Ber­lin Court of Ap­peal and the Ger­man Con­su­late Gen­eral in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
